The Guthrie Public Library
supports the American Library Association’s Library
Bill of Rights with the attendant interpretations,
the Freedom to Read Statement, the Freedom to
View Statement and the Statement on
Confidentiality of Library Records. The following
policies are in no way meant to jeopardize or inhibit
these principles or statements.
PART I: Mission
Statement
To provide and to encourage the use of
library resources and services where the Guthrie Public
Library can best meet the evolving educational,
recreational, and informational needs of the residents
of Logan County and the City of Guthrie, thus enhancing
individual and community life.
